Poker is a card game of chance and skill in which players wager money on the outcome of a hand of five cards. The game may be played with one or more players, and the cards are dealt either face up or down depending on the variant of poker being played. Players who place forced bets on the basis of these principles will generally win a larger percentage of pots than those who rely solely on chance.
