One of the most interesting aspects of poker is the idea of tells. These are unconscious habits a player has that reveal information about their hand to their opponents. These can include eye contact, facial expressions, body language and gestures. Depending on the game and the player, tells can be as subtle as a slight change in posture.<\/p>\n
After the players have all received their two hole cards, there is a round of betting called the \u201cflop\u201d. This is followed by a second card being dealt face up, known as the \u201cturn.\u201d Another round of betting then takes place. The player with the highest five-card hand wins the pot, which consists of the blinds and antes contributed by each player during the previous betting intervals.<\/p>\n
